to the limnology of Mirror Lake

Mirror Lake is 15 ha in area, has a maximum depth of 11 m, and drains into Hubbard Brook near the mouth of the Hubbard Brook Valley. Three tributaries flow into the Lake from a drainage basin of 103 ha. Water in Mirror Lake is relatively nutrient poor, and therefore considered of “high quality” and prized for swimming.
