This is a photograph of the access trail which winds through and near the watersheds on the south facing slopes at Hubbard Brook. This location is at about 580 m in the lower SE edge of Watershed 6. The forest is composed of Sugar Maple, Beech and Yellow Birch at this elevation. The "greenish" spot at the point the trail winds out of sight is one of the precipitation collectors in the lower rain gage clearing. View is looking SE.
